PERFECT STEEL HOMES is the successor of FRANCO ENGINEERING SA (established 1990), which in turn is the successor of FRANCO Personal Company (established 1975).
In these more than 40 years of professional occupation, the principals of the company have built an excellent reputation, as well as establishing an envious number of internationally known clientele, such as the Basil and Elise GOULANDRIS FOUNDATION, the Saint George’s Flour Mills, MICHELIN, BNP PARIBAS, SOCIETE GENERALE, the FRENCH EMBASSY in Greece, JOTIS Baby Foods, as well as hundreds of clients in the private sector.
This experience is passed today to the new company, PERFECT STEEL HOMES, which allows us to build and deliver houses that fulfil high technical standards.
PERFECT STEEL HOMES, instead of typical concrete constructions, proposes the usage of light metal structure called Cold Formed Steel (CFS) in construction which is a technique used for decades all over Europe and America.
Today, CFS tends to replace even wooden houses, since metal stays intact over time.
In this site, you will find the way to build a house with high standards of insulation, as well as high resistance to earthquakes, snow, wind, and, most importantly, to fire.
We build houses in close collaboration with our clients, discussing and choosing every material and construction method in order to meet their satisfaction and budget. For example, one of the main issues would be the degree of insulation of the house, where we have multiple choices, starting from a normal insulation and ending with a Passive House. Passive House minimizes the cost of heating and cooling over the year to a strict minimum which is calculated at approximately 15 kWh per square meter per year. This give you a cost of 216,00€ for a house of 100 m2, calculated with an expensive cost of 0,144€/kWh.
